Essay topics:

In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in.
What are the reasons for this?
How can people research this?

Looking for the information related to a house or building is more and more popular in several nations. There are some reasons why this is the case and homeowners can apply some methods to investigate their property.
In my view, one of the most common reasons for trend is that people have a curious about their home and its safety. It is clear that anyone decided to buy something that is really valuable especially a house, an estate or something like that, they always pay attention to the safety for their family. For instance, a over 50-year house was built mostly by timber in a tropical area, was probably ran down and not safe to live in. In addition, another reason could be the opportunity for investment. When a building has been experienced a various period in the past and still in good condition, it would have a historical value beside its physical value. Owing the property will be a chance to make money in the future.
In terms of methods to find out the background of a home, there are some ways that the owner can take to gain insights into this. Firstly, they can search information on the Internet about the construction permits, ownership details, specifications, and other relevant articles. This is a good start when the building was built in the urban areas with a plenty of public materials. Moreover, the houses in the outskirts or rural areas, the data like that is quite rare, so another way that very suitable is asking for elderly people who has lived in that zone for a long time. They are the person who witnessed all changes of the house and can provide important information related to this.
In conclusion, the number of people study the history of the house will certainly increase in the future and some useful information resources from Internet and senior people can help them in researching this.
