Essay topics:

The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The provided bar chart illustrates the fluctuation in the beverage preference of Australian citizens in different five urban areas in the last 4 weeks, ranging from taking away fresh or instant coffee to drinking at a cafe.
Overall, it is evident that while it was slightly equal in the habit of buying instant coffee, the other two habits witnessed significant disparities while comparing those five cities surveyed over the last 4 weeks.
According to the graph, there was a percentage difference of approximately 2 percent among those five cities regarding the preference of buying instant coffee over the four-weeks course. While the percentages of Hobart and Brisbane were around 53 percent, the other three cities accounted for 50, 48 and 46 percent in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney respectively.
On the other hand, the graph experienced a significant percentage difference of 10 percent in each kind of beverage habits while comparing these five urban regions. Delving into the trend of opting for a cafe to drink coffee or tea over the last 4 weeks, the number of Australian residents amounted to over 60 percent in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart, while Adelaide achieved only nearly 50 percent. It was evidently similar to the habit of taking fresh coffee when the percentage of Sydney and Melbourne being over 40 percent compared to under 35 percent accounted for in Brisbane and Adelaide.
