The chart shows the percentage of women and men in one Asian country who passed when they took their driving test between 1980 and 2010.
The change in the population of an Asian nation passing the driving test by two genders from 1980 to 2010 is displayed in the bar chart, shown in percentage.
Overall, the rate of women passing to test-drive was higher than that of men in that country. Furthermore, both sexes experienced an upward trend.
As per data, there were almost a half of females who passed driving test in 1990, while males only accounted for about a quarter. A decade later, the figure for the former showed a slight increase to around 52%, and that for the latter inclined significantly to reach two fifths.
In 2000, the proportion of females to pass the test became the maximum data recorded, inclining to seven in ten closely. Although it decreased ten years later to be three fifths, this figure was still bigger than the counterpart. When it came to the figure for men, this witnessed a significant growth to mostly a half, then it remained stable eventually.
