The charts below show the percentage of volunteers by organizations in 2008 and 2014.
The two pie charts illustrate the volunteers’ proportion in various fields of organizations in 2008 and 2014.
In general, there are six voluntary fields summaried in the graphs. The subjects making up the largest and smallest portions in 2008 were Educational and Health Care, respectively. Meanwhile, in 2014, the highest proportion belonged to Environmental while the Health Care maintained its lowest position.
To begin with, the Educational, which occupied the biggest part at 24%, became the dominant subject in the entire 2008 chart. To contrast, the most humble figure of 7% of volunteers was owned by the Health Care. Equivalently, Sport and Others took the similar positions with 15% for each subject.
However, some considerable changes occured in the six following years. By 2014, the Environmental had overtaken the most superior position of the Educational with 29%. A slightly upward trend of 1% happened in the Educational number, from 7% to 8% in 2014. Last but not least, two significant changes in the Educational and Sport’s numbers were depicted clearly in the charts.
