Gone are the times when people used to pursue education to land on a high-paying job. Over the years, the education system is changing. it has started to play a major role in enhancing the knowledge of a student rather than focusing on only providing basic skills necessary to sustain in the real world. In a recent survey conducted, it was observed that forty percent of adults undertake courses out of interest in subject. almost a similar amount of people pursue studies to gain qualifications and aiming to increase their chances of promotion, to meet new people and to shift jobs. only about twenty two percentage of students take them to help themselves achieve their desired job. One of the most interesting fact is that, twelve percent of students take courses just because they enjoy studying. The research also revealed some thoughts of people regarding how much of the cost should be shared and by whom. The study tells that people believe that only forty percent of the cost of the course should be shared by the individual and the rest almost equally contributed by taxpayers and employer.
