The line graph given illustrates how much enquiries made in three different ways received by the Tourist Information Office in one city within 6 months from January to June in 2021
It is evident that the figure for enquiries received in person and by phoning experienced a dramatic increase. Meanwhile, the number of enquiries made through letters or emails saw a downward trend.
In January, the number of enquiries made by telephone was the highest, at around 900, the opposite was true for face-to-face enquiries, at 400. At the same time, there was above 700 enquiries written in letters or emails. In the next three months, the figure for making enquiries by meeting directly and using telephone increased by 200 and 100 respectively whereas a slight growth of 100 was witnessed by that of using letter and email.
With above 1200 one-on-one enquiries in April, the figure continued to rise stably and reached the peak. Also, the number of enquiries making by phone saw a similar trend, at 1400. In stark contrast, letter and email enquiries declined sharply and hit the lowest point with around 400 enquiries.
