The graph below shows the weekday volume of passenger activity on the Toronto Metro system for July 2007.
Given in the graph is the illustration of how much people use the Toronto Metro system for transit, recorded for a week over the time in question.
Overall, what is striking from the graph is that the quantity of passengers followed the same pattern, fluctuating significantly throughout the timeframe.
As can be seen, Toronto Metro system activity started at 100 thousand users at 6 in the morning, and then 2 hours later, the number of passengers peaked at 400 thousand, which is recorded as the highest of all time. Subsequently, the figure considerably dropped to 200 thousand users at 10 a.m. Remarkably, there was also a similar trend after that time, more specifically, the total 100 thousand users at 4 in the evening jumped to just under 400 thousand users after 2 hours, but this was followed by a dramatic decline to only about 150 thousand users.
Moreover, since 10 a.m, the volume of passengers saw a steady increase to 300 thousand people, after which the number suddenly went down to only 100 thousand at 4 in the evening, the same as that at 6 a.m. Eventually, there was a slight fluctuation between 150 and 200 thousand passengers from 8 to 10 in the evening.
