Food was the item, which adults purchased the most with 25% of their income including 14% of men and 39% of women, as opposed to videos which were bought by a mere of 1%. In terms of music, children spent most money on this item with 39%, while the figure for adults was relatively much lower with 5% and the same for both men and women
Children spent the least of their money on food with merely 10%, which was relatively low, compared to the expenditure of electronic equipment. This item was allocated to 23% of children’s expenses and the figure for boys was 13% higher than that of girls.
