Task 1:
The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.
The graph illustrates a total count of tourists at Caribbean Island from 2010 to 2017, including comparison between those who stay on cruise ships and those staying on island. Overall, the number of vacationers kept on increasing throughout the years with evident fluctuations in the place where they resorted.
The total aggregate of tourists in 2010 gradually rose to double its value by 2013, from approximately 1 in former to about 2 in latter. There was a steady improvement in the quantity of visitors till 2015, corresponding to which for one year, the quantity became levelled, and then later in 2017 it witnessed a drastic surge from almost 2.75 to around 3.5 in 2017.
On the other hand, the count at halting destinations erratically kept on wavering. With constant value of nearly 0.7 in first year, number of tourists staying on cruise ships increased to value of about 1.5 in 2013, after which it was relatively constant till 2017 with just a minor decline in 2016. However, count of travellers lodging on island witnessed few ups n downs from nearly 0.3 in 2010 till about 0.5 in 2013, after which its number kept on rising continuously till it reached its highest mark of about 2 in 2017.
