The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
The pie charts compare the difference in the yearly expenditure of a particular school in United Kingdom in three years.
It can be seen from the charts that the percentage of the yearly paid for salary of teacher was highest while that for insurance was lowest over the period.
Although the proportion of yearly spending of school on insurance increased steady from 2% in 1981 to 8% in 2001, this was still the lowest in comparison with that of other annual expenditures. By contrast, the percentage of annual paid for other worker’s salary showed the downward trend from 28% in 1981 to 15% in 2001.
The charts show the fluctuate in the percentage of yearly spending for other categories. The proportion of annual expenditure for teacher’s salary was 40% in 1981 then increased by 10% to reach a peak of 50% in 1991 before declined to 45% in 2001. The amount of annual investment on resources (books..) grow from 15% in 1981 to 20% in 1991 before fell down to only 9% in 2001. The figure for that of furniture and equipment dropped to 5% in 1991 before went up to 23% in 2001, which was the second highest in the annual expenditure of school in 2001.
