describe your circumstances
ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enrol in the course
Dear Enrolment Officer,
Hope you are doing well. I am writing to you express my interest in the computer programing course offered during this summer. I always wanted to have formal education in this subject, but unfortunatley I never had time due to my busy schedule.
However, there is one issue with my eligibilty to enrol in this course that I have not completed the prerequiste course that was offered. I have working knowledge of computers, and in my free time, I have learned basic SQL language from a mobile applications. I have also utilized the self learned knowledge in my work by automating the excel sheets using SQL. I have also checked the course outline of the elementary course, it covers general computer skills and SQL language.
I do realize that I don't have a formal degree or course in the filed of computing, but I believe I will be able to keep up in this cource with steady pace, because of my background knowledge and expertise. Therefore, I will request you if can make an exception and kindly allow me to opt this course.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Regards
Ghufran
