Dear Sir,
Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter in reference to ask for some time off work as I am planning to go on leave.
As you are aware that I have been lately very occupied with some critical projects and now most of these projects are on the closure stage, so I wanted to take some time off work and rejuvenate myself from the stress and go on a short trip to a hill station. This will also be the right opportunity to take along my family as lately due to professional commitments I haven't been able to spend quality time with them.
I will be taking a short trip to Mount Abu and would need around four days so I am planning to leave on Wednesday next week and will be back on Saturday.
While I am away, I have already given handover to my peer who was working on these critical projects however in the case on an emergency I am always reachable on my cell phone.
I request you to please approve my leave request.
