Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. Others believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Given the quick development of digital technology and modern transportations, there has recently been a plethora of both career paths and workplaces. While there are certain individuals opting for serving the locals after their training as their main responsibility, some argue that being confined in specific workplaces are unnecessary. In this essay, I will delve into this circumstance in terms of reasons, pros and cons each critic offers.
Undoubtedly, an increasing number of full scholarships are occupying talented individuals to serve their locals, as they require at least a two or three year working period from graduated students. This cooperation method plays a significant role in the process of local development, given that both the quality and quantity of the human resources are equivalent and appropriate. From the employee’s viewpoint, in contrast, without the sense of gratitude, it is inevitable that fresh workers are willing to move to another workplace unless they are given a better promotion or a self-development career path in the current place due to the sense of boredom and stability.
On the other hand, the ambition of development or prestige, transferring to a more potential workplace holds significance in a student’s inclinations after graduation. While working for the country of origin offers a safe ambiance because of being accustomed to educational methods established by those environments and situations, international alternatives are also attractive to some fresh-comers, as it opens a wider range of experiences, including not only their own career developments but also their new culture exploration which could give them a hand in pursuing their job prospects.
In conclusion, there are valuable reasons which affect student’s ultimate choices in their career path, serving locals or working aboard. It is crucial for those students to take consideration about the workplace offers as well as their own preferences.
