You are a current student of Loren Brusque University, studying Business Administration. You want to apply for the post of Quality Assurance Manager you have recently seen on the university's notice board.
Write a letter to Mr. Walker, and
• Give your reason for writing
• Tell about your education
• Describe your work experience and explain why you would be suitable for the job.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I intend to write this letter to show my interest in the vacant position of the Quality Assurance Manager, advertised through the notice board. I am currently studying Business Administration at your university. Prior to this, I did my graduation in business administration, specializing in the quality assurance domain.
The evident reason for applying for this position is primarily my relevant experience and required academic background. I have worked in the capacity of the Quality assurance supervisor at a telecommunication company in London for about 3 years. At my previous job, my roles and responsibilities were quite similar to the job description provided with this vacancy. I used to evaluate the helpline calls and also made sure to do the calibration with agents upon their mistakes and shortcomings. My prime tasks were to form quality reports, identifying mistakes and recommending improvement areas. I also worked in the capacity of quality coach for the agents needed special training over soft-skills for handling aggressive customers. I consider myself quite suitable for this position as I have made a 60 days plan to improvise the quality evaluation measures and how I can bring value using my expertise.
It is, therefore, requested to consider me for this position.
Yours Truly,
Sam
