The first bar chart gives information about the reason for studying based on age of students, and the second bar chart illustrates the amount of support they received from the employers. Overall, both figures show a reverse trend, while the highest amount of support from the employers is in the age of 26.
According to the first table, only 10% of students under 26 years old study for their passion. Surprisingly, as the age becomes older, the percentages are increasing. The proportion for students with age 26-29, 30-39, 40-49, and over 49 have reached around 15%, approximately 25%, 40%, and 70% respectively. However, the figure for age below 26 who is studying for a career has reached 80%. Meanwhile, the proportion for age 26-29 has reached 70%, and continues to decrease as the age becomes older. Finally, the age for those over 49 years old who are studying for a career is just below one-fifth percent.
As it can be seen, the highest support for employers is in the age of below 26, with just over 60%. The second highest is the age between 26-29, which reaches 50%. Followed by the figure of 49 years old by around 45%. Lastly, the lowest support is in the age between 30-39, with only roughly 32%.
