The given graph describes information about how much oil have been produced and consumed in China during a period of 24 years.
As it can be seeing from the chart, both indexes starts from 2 millions of oil barrels per day in 1982. On the one hand, consumption line stagnates on the level of 2 millions till the 1990. On the other hand, production level soars between 1982 and 1986 and gets 3 millions barrels per day, and saves this level till 1990.
Production level between 1990 and 2006 slowly climbs to the level of 3.5~ millions barrels without deviations. According to the chart, consumption level raises sharply from 1990, and crosses production level between 1990 and 1994, then rapidly grows till the end of chart in 2006 on the level of more than 6 millions barrels per day.
To sum up, in the beginning of 1980’s production level grows faster, comparing to consumption, but stops on the level of 3 millions. In the same time, consumption level stars growing only in 1990’s, but grows very sharply and saves this tendency till the end of chart.
