The chart reveals how physically active Australian males and females in six categories were regularly in the year of 2010. Overall, women were almost physically active more than their counterparts. Additionally, the figure for women aged 45-54 was the highest while that for men aged 35-44 was the lowest over the year surveyed.
It can be seen that the rate of males exercised regularly witnessed an only higher value than that of females in the category of the 15-to 24-year-olds, 52.8% compared with 47.7%. Regarding remaining age groups, the significant difference can be seen in people aged between 35 and 44. To be exact, the proportion of females who did activity was 13% more than males did, 52.5% as opposed to 39.5%. On the contrary, the figure for people aged 65 and over witnessed an identical value, standing at nearly 47.1% for each gender. In terms of the two categories of those in ages of 45-54 and 55-64, the rate who did exercise was almost equal, at the average of 53% in each female’s group and 44% in each male’s one respectively. There was a negligible proportion in the group of ages 25 and 34, 48.9% belonged to the figure for women and 42.2% went to that for men.
