The chart shows the unemployment situation in Austraylia in the year 2012. We can easily see that at the very beginning of 2012, the rural areas had the unemployment rate at about 6.5 percentage. The rate decreased, though. In the second quarter of the year, the rate was just about 4.5 to 5 percentage. The third quarter of 2012 reported the unemployment rate at about 5 percent, so do the fourth. As we can see , the unemployment rate in the rural areas of Austraylia in 2012 was unstable . It can be pretty high: 6.5 percent , but also pretty low: about 4.5 percent. In 2012, the unemployment rate in the urban areas of Austraylia wasn't stable, either. It started off at about 2 to 3 percent in the first quarter, then about 4 percent in the second, 2 to 3 percent in the third and 4 to 5 percent in the fourth. In the urban areas of Austraylia, the highest unemployment rate in 2012 was about 5 percent , and the lowest is 2 percent. We can see that the unemployment rate in the rural areas is higher than that in the urban areas most of the time.
