The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The graph illustrates the quantity of inquiries that the Tourist Information Office in a city received over six months in 2011.
Overall,the figures of inquiries received in person and by telephone experienced an upward trend while enquiries received by letter or mail witnessed a downward trend.
As shown by the graph, most enquiries were received by telephone in January with more than 800 digits. Then, it dropped to exactly 800 enquiries in February and soared to 1000 digits in March. Later in June, the figure reached a high of 1600 enquiries. On the contrary, enquiries received in person had the lowest number with only 400 digits in January. However, it rocketed to 800 enquiries in March and then hit its peak in June with more than 1800 enquiries.
By contrast, enquiries sent by and email started at a high of around 800 digits and left off until March. After that, it fell to less than 600 enquiries in April and hit the bottom in June.
