The chart below gives information about different types of waste disposed of in one country in 1960 and 2011
The two pie charts compare the percentage of many kinds of rubbish disposal in a certain nation in the year 1960 and 2011.
Overall, the figures for Paper, Textiles and the others waste saw downward trends while the opposite was true for those of the four categories namely: Metal, Plastic, Wood, and Food,. A noticeable observation is that the percentages of Glass and Green wasted shared almost the same figure in two years.
Firstly, the proportion of garbage disposal from Food accounted for over one in ten, followed by 8% that of Metal and Plastic, exactly 4% from Wood in the first given year. In addition, waste from Food, Wood, and Plastic rose double whilst that of metal just increase by 1% from 1960 to 2011.
In terms of Paper and textiles, the proportion of Paper constituted 25%, 8 % by far higher than that of Textiles, two times as much as that of Others waste in 1960. In 2011, there waswere more waste from paper than textiles, 15% versus 11%. While the figure for the other waste in 1960 was a third in 2011 and made up the least rate amongs all the listed.
