The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production in France in two years.
Given is the bar chart illustrating data on the changes in the ratio of manufacturing five types of energy namely Coal, Gas, Petrol, Nuclear, and Other in France over a two-decade period, between 1995 and 2005, measured in percentages.
Overall, Coal and Gas took the dominant proportion, and Petrol experienced a significant fall throughout the given years.
In 1995, 29.80% of energy in France was produced by using coal, which accounted for the highest figure, followed by gas with a digit of 29.63%. Petrol accounted for about one-third of the energy manufactured in France. Nuclear and Other had clearly lower amounts of energy in comparison to these three mentioned, with 6.40% and nearly 5% respectively.
Coal and gas remained stable in their dominance of energy produced in 2005, with a figure of about one-third of each. Petrol witnessed a sharp decline to approximately 20% in the later year. Nuclear and Other doubled the amount of the production energy compared to 1995, which contribution came from the drop of petrol in producing energy.
