The bar chart below describes some changes about the percentage of people were born in Australia and who were born outside Australia living in urban, rural and town between 1995 and 2010.

The bar chart has generally demonstrated the trend of people who were born in and outside Australia between 1995 and 2010.
The overall pattern of city population of both in and outside Australia remains the same, which occupies the largest proportion among three segments, but there are slight increases in people born in Australia from around 50% to almost 70% and 20% increase in terms of people born outside the country between 1995 and 2010.
As for the major changes in the charts, the pattern of people born in the rural areas has dropped significantly. In 1995, rural population takes the second place among three segments for both in or outside Australia, whereas this segment became the minor group in 2010 with an approximate decrease of 15% and 35% in 1995 and 2010 respectively.
As for those who living in towns, there is only minor reduction between 1995 and 2010. However, the proportion of this segment has taken the second place in 2010 and exceed the proportion of people who live in rural both born in or outside Australia.
