The given image demonstrates the process of how sugar is manufactured from sugar cane. Overall, there are seven steps in the process, starting with the growing of sugar cane and culminating in the drying and cooling of sugar before turning it into sugar used for daily needs.
First of all, farmers have to spend about 12 to 18 months to grow sugar cane in their garden and they subsequently harvest these plants both by truck and by hand. In the third phase of the procedure, these sugar canes are placed into a machine and crushed into juice.
Regarding the next step. After being purified by a limestone filter in the fourth step, these juices are heated up in an evaporator with the aim of turning them into syrup. Following this, the next stage is called the centrifuge, in which sugar crystals are separated from the syrup taken in the previous step before being dried and cooled to generate the final product, namely sugar.
