The provided two pie charts illustrate and compares the data on five different reasons that influenced the two groups (Age 18-24, and Age 25 and over) to choose Dorrifod University.
Overall, it can be seen that close to home is the only reason that led the highest number of students in both groups to choose the Dorrifod University.
Examining the data set for the group aged 18-24 in more detail, it is clear that the majority of the students are selected Dorrifod University as it is close to their home and the course offered, is 36% and 35% respectively. Additionally 14% of total students chose by considering the facilties in campus. Only small minority of students chose Dorrifod University due to the reputation of teaching staff (2%), related to industry (4%) and the opportunity to study abroad as part of course (9%).
Turning to the age group of 25 and over, it is evident that highest percentage of students chose Dorrifod University because of close to home, is 3% more than the 18-24 age group. Another major reason that lured the students is course offered accounting for 24% of total students which is 11% less than the 18-24 age community. But the minority of students (3% and 2%) select Dorrifod University because of the opportunity to study abroad and the facilties on campus.
