The maps show the village park 10 years ago and the village car park now.
The maps illustrate the development of the village park over a 10 years span. Overall, it can be seen that some changes have been made, from the size of pre-existing features which got expanded, to the construction of new amenities.
At the present time, the tennis court has been doubled in size, going from having 2 courts to the opening of 4 in total. The car park on the left, that 10 years ago could fit 20 people, is now suitable for 50, while the football pitch was expanded and moved a little lower from where it used to be.
The children's play area has been renewed over time, with the construction of two separated areas now called The children's park and The children's soft play area. Opposite to the tennis court, at the very bottom of the village park, where once was a little pond, now a boating lake can be found, next to the newly built cafè. This structure, together with the recently built toilets, takes the place of the woods that once used to be there, to the bottom right of the park.
Last but not least, two new features have been added from scratch, the brand new picnic area situated on the bottom left, and cycle path that runs around the perimeter of the village park.
