Essay topics:

The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

The graph reveals the number of people traveling to Caribbean Island within 7 years, counted in millions.

In general, there were more people staying on the cruise ship before being surpassed by the number of tourists staying on the island. However, the proportion of tourists rose drastically at the end of the year.

From 2010 to 2014, the total of those who stayed on the island remained unchanged before skyrocketing to 1.5 million people. Meanwhile, although the proportion of tourists choosing cruise ships as their accommodation rose steeply to one million, it remained lower than those staying on the cruise ship. Regardless, the total of tourists increased gradually at the end of the period.

In the following three years, the total of them opted to stay on the cruise ship increased by double, overtaking the number of people staying on the island. Meanwhile, the sum of those staying on the island was unchanged before experiencing fluctuation in a short period of time, making it the least place tourists chose to stay. Also, the total of tourists reached its peak at 3.5 million people eventually.
