Some people believe that corporations have a responsibility to promote the well-
being of the societies and environments in which they operate. Others believe that
the only responsibility of corporations, provided they operate within the law, is to
make as much money as possible.
Write a response in which you discuss which view more closely aligns with your own
position and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and
supporting your position, you should address both of the views presented.
The prompts claim that we can usually learn much more from like-minded people whose views contradict our own because disagreement can cause demotivation, and tension, and impede learning. The given topic is highly contentious because different people may have disparate positions and opinions on the topic. Some may go for the topic, while others cannot argue with it all. I both consonant and dissonant with the given topic that we can usually learn much more from people whose views we can share than those whose views contradict our own. There are three reasons and examples supporting my positions are presented in the following paragraphs below.
Firstly, Most of the corporations play an important role in to make the well societies, and also play role in to make healthy environment in our societies by consuming the green house gas like methane. For instance, In Ghampower company which is located in Nepal, is efficiently working solar related project rather than hydropower project. In additional, it reduce the methene gas which is produce from hydropower, and also helps to make the people healthy. In effect, the corporations have responsibility to promote the well being societies and environments in which they operate.
Moreover, Nowadays the desert is used to generate the electricity by using the solar panel. For example, the different corporations of the the country Morocco has been used Sahara desert to produce the electricity, and provide the electricity to their societies. Furthermore, it also remove the Methane, Nitrogen, Co2 gas which is harmful for leaving thing. Consequently, Corporations play the important role in to protect the environment and societies.
In sum/conclusion, the reasons and examples presented to support the claim/position that partially agree with the essay. The Essay highlights some people believe that corporations have responsibility to promote the well-being of the societies and environments in which they operate, while others believe that the only responsibility of corporation, provide they operate within the law , is to make as much as many as possible. The examples of Ghampower company, Morocco, and Nepal telecommunication system are present to support the given statement.
