The bar graph below shows the amount of carbon emissions in different countries during three different years.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Given is the bar chart revealing the amount of carbon consumption statistics in six nations (namely USA, Germany, United Kingdom, China, Canada, and India) throughout the period of different years in 1975, 1990 and 2005.
Overall, the quantity of carbon emission in the UK and Germany fell gradually, while others witnessed an upward trend all over the surveyed period. Additionally, the USA has the highest amount of carbon release.
In 1975, approximately 1 200 000 thousand metric tonnes were produced by the USA and this rose rapidly, reaching a peak at 1 600 000 thousand of carbon release in the next 30 years. Despite the leap of the USA in carbon production, Germany and UK proceeded to collapse to around 200 000 and 160 000 thousand metric tonnes respectively. Interestingly, there was a plateau in the amount of carbon discharge in Germany between the year 1975s and 1990s, standing at 250 000 thousand tonnes.
In stark contrast, over 300 000 thousand tones of metric accounted for the number of China carbon released, compared with under 200 000 thousand in the UK and Canada. Following the ceiling trend, the number of carbon emissions measured peaked at around 1 500 000 thousand tonnes in 2005 and over 300 000 thousand tonnes were produced in India, whereas Germany, UK and Canada witnessed only under 200 000 thousand tonnes.
