The bar chart illustrates the employment categories of adult population in the United State in two specific years, 2003 and 2013.
Overall, it is conspicuous that the number of adults who were employed in the business area ranked first in both given years. Besides, there was a downward trend in terms of medical and business categories.
Specifically, in 2003, about 45%of adults worked as a businessman or businesswoman, while medical employers ranked second, above 20%. With regards to self employed, unemployed and building jobs, the ranking was descending respectively with the figure above 10%. Adults who worked in the hotel industry accounted for nearly 4%, becoming the least of the data in the year 2003.
In 2013, while business was still an appealing job to adults, the figure dropped by approximately 10%. There was an impressive growth regarding self-employed and unemployed status (about 18%), ranking second and third with the number roughly the same as the business category. Medical workers' percentage was at the bottom of data, nearly 13%.
