The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates the amount of fish and three different kinds of meat consumed in an European country from 1979 to 2004.

Overall, it can be seen that the consumption of beef, lamb and fish decreased while the opposite was true for chicken over the period. Also, fish was the most uncommon kind of food in the country all the time surveyed.
In 1979, beef consumption was highest, at over 200 grams per capita per week. The figures for lamb and chicken were lower, at 150 grams and under 150 grams respectively. In contrast, the amount of fish consumed was much lower, at just over 50 grams.

Despite some fluctuations, by 2004, there was a gradual fall to about 60 grams in lamb consumption, in comparison with a significant decrease of around 100 grams in the figure for beef. However, the country witnessed a steady increase of approximately 100 grams per person per week in the amount of chicken eaten by the year 2004. By contrast, the figure for fish declined slightly to under 50 grams when ending the period of 25 years.
