The cycle of salmon life from egg to adult in three various ecosystems is displayed in the diagram.
Overall, life of salmon species is consisted of several cycles. Additionally, this fish is more likely to spend on their time in river and ocean than in estuary.
Initially, salmon spawns their eggs in the river, then it will be incubated before it will hatch to become juveniles. After that the emergence step, the fish rears in this freshwater area, it will travel to find a new location to inhabit after several periods. Turning to the brackish water one, it allocates the least amount of time on rearing in estuary.
Thereafter, they migrate to adapt in the ocean to discover larger rearing areas, and this fish will experience a growth of the body size as well as the maturation process in this salty water. Afterwards, when it has found a mate, the couple of salmon will go back to river to reproduce their offspring, and a new life begin again.
