The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The diagram represents various steps in the process of making cement and the process of producing concrete using cement for building purposes.
In general, there are 5 stages from the cement production process starting from crushing materials to packing cement into bags. Also, the production of concrete contains 2 steps starting from putting materials into a concrete mixer and ending with mixing materials to make concrete.
In the cement production process, the first stage begins with crushing limestone and clay into powder; the powder then moves to the mixing stage before going through the rotating heater. In the next step, the powder is ground to make cement and packed into bags.
In the first step of creating concrete, cement along with 3 other raw materials is filled into a concrete mixer. In order to make concrete, there are some requirements which only need 15% cement, 25% sand, 50% gravel, and 10% water. After that, all of the materials are mixed together to produce concrete.
