The bar graph below shows the percentage of tourists to Thailand who visited four different attractions in Bangkok.
The bar graph shows how many people visited four different Bangkok's attractions for each year from 2014 to 2017. The number of annual visitors varied in different ways for each of the four attractions, with a final decrease in 2017.
The annual number of tourists who visited Bangkok's Zoo went drastically down during the four years time. In 2014, 50% of foreign people choose to visit the zoo, but that rate dropped to 20% in just one year. Then, there was a small rise, to around 30% the next year. The smaller rate was registered in 2017, with less than 10% of tourists visiting Bangkok's zoo. Similarly, Sea World's visitors, that were 70% of the total in 2014, decreased to 45% in one year but rose in another year, rounding up to 50% in 2016. There has been a significant drop in 2017, when the lowest rate was registered, with only 20% of people visiting the attraction.
China Town's visitors rose significantly during the years, but as Sea World's and the Zoo's rates, the share dropped to its lowest point in 2017. Starting at 20% in 2014, China Town's share fourfolded in one year, reaching 80% in 2015. There was another significant rise in 2016, with a peak of 100% of visitors. Unfortunately, in 2017 only one-tenth of Bangkok's tourists decided to visit China Town.
Conversely, the only attraction to attract a high share of visitors was the Wax Museum. Starting at 45% in 2014, that number rose to almost 70% in 2015. Then again, there was another increase in 2016, up to 80%. In 2017, the visitor's share dropped slightly to just over 75%, making the wax museum the most visited attraction of the year.
