Given is the bar chart depicting the number of residents in the UK consuming more than 5 portions of vegetables and fish per day over a 7-year period, commencing from 2011. Perceptibly, women seemingly prefer having fish and vegetables in their daily meals to their opposite gender. Moreover, the proportion of children eating these foods recorded by far for the least among 3 objects.
It is manifested as the proportion of females eating vegetables and fish initiated at 20% and stayed plateau over 3 years. Meanwhile, there was a moderate leap in the volume of males to 19% albeit the stable positions at 17% in the first 2 years. Likewise, the percentage of children consuming vegetables and fish which was halved that of the women in 2011 surged to 14% before returning to 13% in 2013.
The ensuing 4 years witnessed an exponential slump in the number of females reaching its zenith at 36% in 2016 then maintaining at 30% in the last year. In the interim, although there is an oscillation somewhere around 22 and 24% in the next 3 years, its figure recorded at its peak with 26% in 2017. Ultimately, the rate of children seems not to change much in the remaining period with the 1% fluctuation around 29%.
